Can't wait to see Usha's face when the realization settees in.

You can register works retroactively and if I’m being honest, it’s not particularly expensive to register.
I would hope that a published author has properly registered, but with all of the self publishing going on these days who knows?
Hence Donny Two-Scoop’s useful idiot status.
But Bibi isn’t part of the gang running the show, he’s just happy throwing Dumpy under the bus. I’d even argue that Bibi isn’t particularly smart, he’s just a very good chess player.
It's pigeon chess and he's the pigeon.
I'm pretty sure we're all hip to that. He's the very definition of "useful idiot".
What you're leaving out is that all of the so-called masterminds combined don't have the IQ of a deceased flatworm. Or to put it another way; They all won the top prize in the Dunning-Kruger sweepstakes.
Weird. Have you reported the user to Prusa?
That’s a weird one. That zip file looks like it’s totally sketch, I wouldn’t touch it with someone else’s keyboard. Bad actors trying to spread malware?
Looks like more of the same BS we’ve seen since they instituted the Prusameter rewards system. Copycats trying to game the system for freebies. The copycats normally get banned as soon as they’re reported
Don't forget cutting to shots of the crowd while important events are happening. I nearly lost my mind when that happened LOL
Unless the have a vested interest in doing so, neither Boeing or SpaceX would attempt any such thing. The only reason either of them is working on potential lunar spacecraft/landers/etc. is because it's a potential contract.
They like playing with other people's money 🤣
FYI; I don't count Apollo 1 in this instance because the loss occurred during training while still on the ground.
True, but Apollo had the benefit of a prior crewed launch and a more demanding timeline. Plus NASA hadn't lost any crews yet, save for Apollo 1. Losing Challenger and Columbia had a huge impact on the culture at NASA.
Yeah, that bit really kinda frustrated me. I do wish they'd invest in a better setup to cover the launches. I think we've been spoiled by SpaceXs launch coverage, except the only streaming on Twitter bit (that and EM's increasing douchebaggery).
A flight like this isn't meant to be ambitious TBH. First crewed flight of a new launch system is always going to be somewhat conservative in its goals. Plus NASA has a tendency to be risk averse (with good reason).
A photo of the gigantic No Kings crowd in Atlanta, Georgia.
Atlanta is showing up to say no ICE, no war, No Kings. #NoKings
Due to some unforeseen family medical issues I’m afraid I will not be able to attend this year's Rocky Mountain RepRap Festival as planned . Gutted that I’ll miss seeing folks in meat space, but medical issues take precedence.
Just hit publish on my latest blog post. It's the first of what will (hopefully) be many that cover some of my design processes and roadblocks. Check it out here:

P.S. These prints are prototypes, please excuse the flaws.
So I was kinda hoping to have this all ready in time for RMRRF but I don't think it's in the cards. To make up for that, here's a sneak peak at pieces from my upcoming NASA Chess set.
Posted my first Sitrep. I plan for these to be a regular feature (fingers crossed). Want to know what's up with the #councilofandrews steam foundation? It'll be here. Curious about what I'm working on? It'll be here too. You can check out Sitrep #1 here: sunbeammakes.com/sitrep-march...
It is. With the current administration it’s probably going to get worse too.
That number is not correct. Current literacy rate in the US is between 60% and 79% depending on the how "literate" is defined. 28% would represent the illiterate portion of the population (that figure is around 21% not 28%). None of those numbers are good, but better than stated in the meme.

Thanks man. The doctor is pretty positive about Mrs. S's outlook.
That's why I shared this story. All too often we soldier on because we're too busy, or "it's nothing, I'll be fine", or the cost of medical care is too high. Whatever the reason, get it checked out! Your life may depend on it
Sigh, I really want the Concorde but I really don't have anywhere to display it at the moment.
I'm gonna make a space for the DC-3 if it kills me though.
I'm absolutely screwed if they release a Tri-Motor or a Constellation 🤣
Hey fam, a little PSA I want to share with y'all. Last week Mrs. Sunbeam went in for a check up with her PCP. Pretty much a normal check up until Mrs. S mentioned a problem that she’d been having, something that didn’t feel overly troubling at the time. She’d been bruising quite easily and she’d been fatigued a lot. TLDR, after having a full blood panel run we got a call, first from the lab and then from the doctor. Her platelet count was 4 (as in 4,000 per micro liter). Normal range for an adult human should be somewhere between 150 and 450. After a little consideration we were told to get to the ER as quickly as possible. The reason being is that with a count less than about 20 the potential for a stroke is incredibly high (not to mention possible internal bleeding). Long story short, Mrs. S spent two nights in the hospital while they gave her 3 units of platelets and put her on a massive IV dose of steroids, while they did more testing to figure out what we were dealing with. I’m happy to say that the therapy worked wonders and she was released with a count of 27. Still low, but that increase meant that her body wasn’t destroying new platelets. After 2 more days with high steroid doses her count (as of yesterday’s follow up) is up to 280, well above the lower end of the normal range. Whew! What caused this auto-immune response? We’re still not 100% sure. Acute ITP (Immune Thrombocytopenia) has several potential causes ranging from a simple viral infection (flu, COVID, chikungunya, etc.) to leukemia and lupus. Luckily, blood marrow disorders like leukemia and other cancers were ruled out pretty early. Tests for lupus came back negative. The doctor suspects it was a response to a viral infection (we both had a bad case of the flu right after Christmas). TLDR, Listen to what your body is telling you and make sure you have your doctor check you out (even if you feel it’s nothing). Small things can be indicators for life threatening issues that need to be treated.
Seeing as how we're still character limited and I'm really too tired to do a threaded post;
Dude! I saw a sneak peak from some brick related content creator. I so need this!
Also, years ago someone on Ideas proposed doing one of these. It never got enough votes which was a shame.
