I know AI is a hot-topic especially in tech news, but I don't get why we have dedicated AI editors, I appreciate it's moving fast but not fast enough to need a team shoveling. No wonder news fatigue is here.

Screenshot of ars forum, post from Aurich, full contents below including his personal note. Okay, an update: We have pulled the story over concerns that it may have gone against our content policies. I locked the comments, and I'm going to lock this one too, we need some time. We are doing an investigation right now to figure out exactly what happened. Given that it's Friday afternoon we probably won't have something to report back until Monday, but we will follow up with an explanation for our readers. Edit: Monday is a holiday, my bad, and I don't know what we'll be able to say, so I don't want to over-promise anything. -- On a personal note: Thanks for making this thread, between that and someone reporting Scott's post I was able to see this faster than I might have otherwise and bring it to people's attention, and I appreciate it.

I actually strongly disagree with their response, I work in news and this is a trust and editorial compliance nightmare, you'd stay behind an hour to fix this and stop the rumour / bad PR mill running until at least Tuesday. Nightmare fuel
He was removed from venue premise promptly when detected but hung around outside, police were called from what I understand.
Worth noting also that if you were harassed by this person and feel like a crime was commited against yourself:
City of London police VERY interested in hearing from you. I'm aware multiple others have logged crimes.
I have master crime reference I can send in DM to those affected.
Just to clarify, I was at this meet and the above isn't exactly correct. They were removed very soon after detection and then hung around outside persistently, police were called, but police response was slow.
There is now a crime number and police are investigating further.
In my own personal experience, it can get better over time. You learn that you can't change some things, but you can change other things, you learn the art of accepting yourself.
Sometimes I look in the mirror and hate what I see, but it's rarer now, and I focus on progress, rather than insecurities
Last year started off not great. I was recovering from illness, I lost my sweet dog, interpersonal thing went bang and frightened me out of a lot of social confidence.
BUT
Health is much better, fixed a hormonal issue, more comfortable in fitness, work doing well.
Things looking up, I hope.

It's from 2022, I was binge listening Limp Bizkit when I drew this
The general uneasiness has arrived, as the holiday season looms. I'd be lying if I said it's a easy time.
Might be a chance to escape somewhere warm.
This weekend I had the honour to photograph a wonderful wedding and met a bunch of beautiful people and had a fantastic photo taken of my humble self by @w0lf.net that I'm just delighted with :)
Late: but I don't think we could have asked for a better @lfafterdark.com launch. Thank you all for making it as special โค๏ธ
All the effort of everyone involved was worth it the second we saw the enjoyment you all had on the night, people really got into the spirit of it, understood it, and loved it๐ค
I guess it means different things to different people, I get where you're coming from, it's a big "it depends" so won't be everyones thing.
I do gear karaoke every 4 weeks or so at a venue in Soho, scares some of the straight people (with my singing and outfit) but is good fun! ๐ Let's me be... me
Day 4 of industry trade shows and I'm so ready to go home ๐ฉ. Just one more day left.
I think it's just a gear social/party night, I've gone to plenty of them in the rubber and leather scene. Can't say anything too unusual here just means no dark-room (which is kinda nice to me, as it feels like less.. pressure), just get your kit on and dance.
Is there anything in the rules in particular you're not clear about? Maybe they can provide clarification if you're more specific.
The site says it's furs, pups and gear in general, so I assume it's a gear focused event as they've stated, i see people in singlets etc in the pix.
Knowing Xil I genuinely feel this was a mistake.
I obviously can't speak for him but his follow up post sounds like him, and from the time I've known him, he's not really the sort of person to shame others. I genuinely just see it as a fumble

It went spectacularly and the feedback we had was amazing, you all behaved well and showed the joys the community brings, we saw both new faces and regular, with a smile.

a patch of grass in the middle of a pine forest, a stand labeled "WOLFFEE (wolf coffee). a wolf wearing a barista apron is sitting behind it. 2 other wolves are in line to order, the one in front holding a dollar bill in its mouth
wolves have no coffee in the wild
Yeah and whilst it's good, i use it myself to keep a gentle eye on things, I feel they should have to have some sort of warning explaining what I said previously. Mine is adamant I am sitting around 10-13% BF. I am definitely not.
View from a rooftop overlooking St Katharine Docks marina in London. Boats, historic brick buildings, and the city skyline in the distance, with a laptop in the foreground on the balcony.
Making the most of the hot weather despite working, before the heat hides for another few years.
One thing I will say for any BF/Scale system:
If the number goes up, BF has gone up
If the number goes down, BF has gone down
*but* the number it displays is never accurate, it's a very educated guess it's making. Things like touching your arms to your side when measuring can distort it a lot.

This is very tolerable rhetoric โค๏ธ
@BigDragonLad on telegram encouraging violence against myself by saying 'God someone should clock him". Their telegram user ID is 5172391028
I will tolerate a lot, but not encouragement of violence. I am horrified to have this screenshot sent to myself.
I have will happily talk through any subject with anyone, but i NEVER expect any encouragement of any violence. Coward behaviour to say in a closed group where I can't see it also.
