This list provides hope for the Nats, even if it is years away from MLB impact. Would you have ranked the Nats system the same if they hadn't changed everything about their player development process?

Never mind the jobs you had, tell me five classes you took in college:
1. Modern Drama
2. Linear Algebra and Differential Equations
3. Nuclear Engineering I
4. Recent American Constitutional History
5. Data Structures

I'm having trouble interpreting your Nats comment and ranking. Is most of the talent at a low enough level that the poor development hasn't ruined them? Are you hopeful that the new people can fix the players that have stagnated?

Bleak list for Nationals. Nobody in the top 50 and 2 of 3 Nats on the list are 18 year olds drafted in 2025. Thanks for your work!

I'm not mad about trading Gore. I'm mad that they traded him for players that are 2-4 years away, and they are showing no interest in getting better before then

The Mark had the best creamed corn! We went to Andale the week they opened. We were so sad about losing the creamed corn that we asked about it. The waiter nodded and said we get that a lot, let me check with the kitchen. When he returned, he was carrying a bowl of the creamed corn. It was the best!

One of my favorite restaurant stories takes place in the Oyamel space. Before Oyamel there was Andale. Before Andale there was The Mark.

Because @chefjoseandres.bsky.social is our favorite person, my wife and I are spending today visiting every José Andrés restaurant in DC. Starting at the CapitalOne landing lounge at DCA. The Xuxio and Huevos Rotos were delicious!

Capital Weather Gang is the best! The regular and detailed updates given with reasons and analysis are so much more useful than anything I've seen in other cities. Do other cities have this sort of thing, and I don't know about it?

I don't like liver, but I wouldn't say that I 'will not eat it'. I hate olives and yet I keep trying them every couple years. I don't think oysters are worth the money, but they're fine. Otherwise, I think I like all those foods

Watashiato

n. Curiosity about the impact you’ve had on the lives of the people you know, wondering which of your harmless actions or long-forgotten words might have altered the plot of their stories in ways you’ll never get to see.

Just hiked Antelope Canyon X in AZ. It was amazing! At the turn around point there is a sign for a Historic Carving. It's not an ancient carving, though. It was Lloyd who worked for a copper mining company in 1918. Reminds me of James from 'What it is' by Too Much Joy. @tbquirk.bsky.social

1. Good Omens
2. Bel Canto. I don't read a lot of sad books, but I think it was sad. Maybe? Anyway, it was beautiful.
