To report you I'm gonna cast Magic Missive

for comics I'm keeping a keen eye on @panelparty.net 's Comix Cleric which looks like it may be very good for installing on your webspace and using to archive and display comics!
I don't know but whoever it is should get a prize, a special digital hat that they can show off to all their friends that says something like "i left it until the last minute just to try and get this funky hat"
Who wants to see if they can be the backer that cinches the win and gets the project across the finish line? It's so close to the mark it could be you and think of the bragging rights!
1999 gave us a favourite lil guy of mine: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps0M...
It is a thoroughly pointless bit of trivia but I have been carrying that line around in my head for nigh on 30 years or something and I had totally forgot it was basically a Red Dwarf line. I don't have any brits in my orbit to point it out to, so you get it here.
Mentioned today how cold it was out and a line popped into my head "Cooler than a snowman's cold bits". Always liked that line, looked it up and it's from a Polos advert starring Danny John-Jules. Basically playing the Cat from Red Dwarf, as a mint.

That being said it is VERY encoded into my core programming. Not entirely sure who I'd be without it. I'd hope better but I dunno. Maybe I can trick myself into not falling back on it by reframing it as it's lazy and I have to do everything the hard way so then I'd instinctually avoid it. Hmm.
I think I REALLY gotta shake this self deprecation vibe. I know I play it off as intrinsically british - as a sense of identity (which it be fair it kinda is) but I can't help but wonder if I might have more success if I stop tripping myself up at the starting line.
Top image with Jerry saying, "You're crying because of Artemis II?" Bottom image with George saying, "The spirit of space travel got to me." Jerry then says, "Alright."
This morning, NASA sent up a message recorded by Apollo astronaut Jim Lovell before his death: “Hello, Artemis II! This is Apollo astronaut Jim Lovell. Welcome to my old neighborhood! When Frank Borman, Bill Anders, and I orbited the Moon on Apollo 8, we got humanity’s first up-close look at the Moon and got a view of the home planet that inspired and united people around the world. I’m proud to pass that torch on to you — as you swing around the Moon and lay the groundwork for missions to Mars … for the benefit of all. It’s a historic day, and I know how busy you’ll be. But don’t forget to enjoy the view. So, Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy, and all the great teams supporting you – good luck and Godspeed from all of us here on the good Earth.” Jim Lovell Jim Lovell Gemini VII, Gemini XII, Apollo 8, and Apollo 13 Astronaut

Omega-Xis from Mega Man Star Force watching the Moon flyby and noticing the Nasa desk area is labelled 'CAPCOM' (short for Capsule Communicator, but also the name of the japanese videogame company that makes the Mega Man games, aka his parents)
Watching the Lunar flyby- Wait, Nasa's Capsule Communicator is called what?
@capcomusa.com (are they rescuing Volnutt?)

Cosmic rays have the chance to do the funniest thing right now.
I'm in this picture and I like it.
I'm old.
#AskAnArtist: What was your first drawing tablet?
I think my first was a tiny Graphire3 but my second was a used Intuos3 back in like 2005 or something. I'm pretty sure it still works now but the moment I could draw directly on the screen I jumped ship to a Cintiq. It was a gamechanger!
30 years later: Super Sonic is still cool, there's just been a new Chaotix crew (audio) story, Gex just had a new (retro collection) release, now we just need a new Wipeout!
The 'river of slime' from Ghostbusters II
I dunno about clean but without going to check in person I'm still pretty sure it's bright pink.

Star...Fox? Thunder...Birds? It's more likely than you think. Make them thunderbirdy again and puppets and make comics of them as puppets and let me work on it.
The OST for Star Fox Assault totally carries that Thunderbirds vibe through it. You can easily picture the squad dropping through chutes into tubes to get into their ships etc.

Eight years already? That has FLOWN by! Wow. Good job gang.
I am having so much trouble completing my run of the VNAs/PDAs, EDAs etc. I mean, for a reasonable price. Everything costs a fortune these days! I do have a copy of Storm Harvest signed by Sylv though, he's a lovely bloke.
Describe your bluesky account in a single image.
About time Animorphs got a new TV show. I hope it doesn't shy away from what made the source material so good. And by that of course I mean super strong dog robots that have a giant spaceship that looks like snoopy. Oh the the kids, animals and aliens too, I guess.
Hate to start my day off with such a negative post but seeing people rip off designs and then uneducated 'fans' go harassing the original indie creators is just so frustraing to see. I know they're probably kids but at a certain point the ignorance is wilful and that behaviour shouldn't be tolerated
TPoH is a great comic, Mod is a wonderful creator and makes fantastic comics you should check out. I'd never heard of #smg4 until this and seeing the behaviour of some of their 'fans' I don't think I'll look into the series further. Hbomberguy plagarism update vid including this when?
- That soundtrack!
