So anyways, here is an arbitrary entirely unrelated photo I took on this day 3 years ago!

Books mentioning slavery, civil rights removed from shelves at Fort Campbell schools - ClarksvilleNow.com At an elementary school at Fort Campbell, home of the 101st Airborne Division, librarians are hard at work scrubbing the shelves for books that contain references to slavery, the civil rights movement...

This is where we are now: An elementary school at Fort Campbell has removed all books from its library that so much as *allude* to slavery or the civil rights movement.

The wholesale erasure of history in real time.

Donald Trump's decision to bar the Associated Press today from entering the Oval Office was the latest, and most significant attack on the free press since he took office.

We need a strong independent media to take on Trump.

I will never back down.

This is true. I've seen it happen to a friend of mine in Seattle. She doesn't have a single memento or photograph of her childhood, her parents, or her children anymore. Not a single thing. They erased her whole self.

America, you are in danger, girl!

Elon Musk and his hackers—aka DOGE—are everywhere within our federal government, and they are spreading. Pay attention, connect the dots, and call it out—before it’s too late.

Insurrection Barbie tweet: Common cases where ex parte orders are issued:

1. Domestic violence.
2. Child custody emergencies.
3. Stopping an illegal action.
4. To stop the destruction of evidence.
5. Fraud.
6. Bankruptcy.
7. Freezing assets.

These orders require substantial proof of immediate harm. They are used for emergency purposes only.

I highly doubt that allowing DOGE to view treasury files on a read only basis qualifies as any of the above.

But not allowing the secretary of treasury to access treasury files is unconstitutional.

I don’t like the precedent it sets when you defy a judicial ruling, but I’m just wondering what other options are these judges leaving us if they’re going to blatantly disregard the constitution for their own partisan political goals?

After a NY judge blocked DOGE access to Treasury data, Elon Musk just reposted a user who implied that the judge’s order should be defied ⬇️ 👇

Why are rubies red and emeralds green? Their colors come from the same metal in their atomic structure Even though emeralds and rubies are very different colors, they both have the same secret ingredient in their atomic structure.

Rubies and emeralds owe their vibrant colors to the same element: chromium. The crystal structure determines whether it appears red or green. A chemist explains:
