I think I have the solution? thanks to ajhusky on tiktok, I saw them washing off the sublimation paper and scrubbing for residue, and I tried that and my print looks very crisp now!

i'm using an epson ecotank 1810, and yeah, the lines is when i don't select the right paper/quality selection

but GOOD news, i found out what works, washing off the sub paper instead of just ripping it off! night and day difference :)

the only variables i can't change right now is maybe the ink quality and the sublimation paper's quality? i don't know at this point, i'm ready to just.. give up, lie down and cry about it 😔

trying again; i've tried changing heat presses, changed temperature, changed length of cooking, washed my mesh, tried to print on both sides of the mesh, increased pressure on the press, decreased pressure, deep cleaned my printer nozzles, left the eyes to cool off, took the paper off immediately...

Typical that something doesn't want to work for me but goes well for others 😔

I always clean the printer heads before printing something on that printer, it was also working very well in the beginning but now my test prints always end up spotty...
There's still ink in the tanks, too.

Bad transfer and ink splotches on the print, 200 Celcius and 30 seconds

230 Celcius and 60 seconds made some of the holes melt together and gives the worst transfer

Fursuit makers who use sublimation for their eyes: can I get a little advice on what's going wrong here:

1 is the print
2 is pressing on 200 Celcius and 30 seconds, bottom is the transfer, very spotty
3 is pressing on 230 Celcius and 60 seconds, top is the worst transfer and semi-melted holes
