Y'all! You gotta watch this best analysis of why Trump posted the AI generated image of himself portrayed as #Jesus and also why he said he though it was him as a "doctor" - #DoctorDementia that is...

That didn't age well
Sen. Murray: "I'm just sickened by this. To go into this war unprepared, to use outdated data, and to have this horrific thing happen where children were killed in a school sends a horrible message to those that are in a war with us and to our own constituents about what America's values are."
It's happening
The legislation would redistribute their (IMHO, obscene) wealth by providing $3K direct payments in its first year of enactment to every person in the household earning less than $150K in annual income. #UBI
*Let me add that billionaires are a failure of capitalism, that's why I added "obscene."
vision and hearing care for millions of senior citizens, who would also ensure that no family pays more than 7% of their income on childcare & establish a minimum $60K annual salary for every public school teacher.

Bernie Sanders & Ro Khanna have teamed up to the tune of $4.4T. The proposed tax would apply to 938 billionaires in the US, who collectively own $8.2T in wealth. The Act would reverse the $1.1T in cuts to Medicaid and the ACA made by Trump's Big Beautiful Shitty Bill, expand Medicare to cover dental
If you're also sick of the Patriarchy...
145 iranian girls would still be alive today if Trump had not been pressured by Bibi to go to war with Iran. Not my words but what Marco Rubio (inadvertently) admitted.
#CaptainChaos just opened Pandora's box and we're all going to pay for it. #iran

How many of you talked back to your TV during the #SOTU?
Well done, @morganEvelyncook π
Lost amid the noise is the fact that the president just tried to throw six members of Congress in prison because he didn't like what they said. Per @sbg1.bsky.social you have to go back to 1798 to find a congressman prosecuted for exercising his right to free speech www.newyorker.com/news/letter-...
Chris Murphy: "I sat with the kids for an hour. They saw things in these prisons they'll never forget. The bottom line is we have a constitutional obligation to only fund an administration that's operating lawfully. We cannot, we should not fund DHS if it committing these crimes."
Massie: "She didn't answer anything. She came here ready to talk about the Dow Jones and the Nasdaq, which seems kind of crazy to me."
Raskin to Bondi: "You're not showing a lot interest in the victims. Whether it's Epstein's human trafficking ring or the homicidal government violence against citizens in Minneapolis, as AG you're siding with the perpetrators and ignoring the victims."

Mamdani: "I speak of Renee Good, whose final words to the man who murdered her were, 'I'm not mad at you.' I speak of Alex Pretti who died as he lived, caring for the stranger. ICE shot him bc he did something they could never fathom ... let us offer a new path: one of defiance through compassion."
Mamdani: "I am in support of abolishing ICE. What we see is an entity that has no interest in fulfilling its stated reason to exist. We're seeing a government agency that is supposed to be enforcing some kind of immigration law, but instead what it's doing is terrorizing people."
The internet was stunned Tuesday as President Donald Trump delivered a bizarre speech at a press conference marking the first anniversary of his second inauguration.
I flew down to south Texas today to do my job - investigate why people are dying in ICE detention centers.
I was just illegally denied entry to Dilley Detention Center. Because they have something to hide.
WELKER: Do you bear any responsibility to bring down the temperature?
FREY: Of course. But I dropped an F bomb and they killed somebody. I think the killing somebody is the inflammatory element here and not the F bomb.
Much love to Sista Rose for singing how so many of us are feeling right now.
Here's the last few seconds of her heartfelt rendition of America the Beautiful.

I read, "If America isn't breaking your heart right now, you don't love her enough" and that's all I can think about. π This song has never sounded sadder.

UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT FOR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA J.G.G., et al., Plaintiffs, LIYANARA SΓNCHEZ, as next friend on behalf of FRENGEL REYES MOTA, et al., Petitioners-Plaintiffs, V. DONALD J. TRUMP, et al., Respondents-Defendants. Civil Action No. 25-766 (JEB) MEMORANDUM OPINION Nine months ago, six Venezuelan men were hustled out of a detention center in Texas, loaded onto planes, and shipped to an infamous mega-prison in El Salvador with no explanation and no opportunity to challenge the reason for their hasty removal. On behalf of themselves and a putative class of similarly situated detainees, they have turned to the courts to vindicate their constitutional right to due process. These efforts have precipitated multiple trips up and down the assorted tiers of the federal judiciary, complicated by their subsequent transfer to and release in their native Venezuela. After the D.C. Circuit vacated this Court's prior preliminary injunction, Plaintiffs have again moved for an order enjoining the Government to facilitate their return to the United States to pursue their individual habeas claims. The parties then agreed to consolidate this Motion into Cross-Motions for Summary Judgment.
The Court ultimately finds that the United States maintained constructive custody over Plaintiffs while they were imprisoned in El Salvador, thus affording the Court habeas jurisdiction 1 Case 1:25-cv-00766-JEB Document 215 Filed 12/22/25 Page 2 of 43 over this action. In addition, it will certify a class of Plaintiffs who were removed on March 15 and seek to enforce their right to a hearing. On the merits, the Court concludes that this class was denied their due-process rights and will thus require the Government to facilitate their ability to obtain such hearing. Our law requires no less.
ORDER For the reasons stated in the accompanying Memorandum Opinion, the Court ORDERS that: 1. Plaintiffs' [177] Motion for Summary Judgment is GRANTED; 2. Plaintiffs' [178] Motion for Class Certification is GRANTED; 3. Defendants' [182] Motion for Summary Judgment is DENIED; and 4. The Government shall submit its proposal either to facilitate the return of Plaintiffs to the United States or to otherwise provide them with hearings that satisfy the requirements of due process by January 5, 2026. 1 Case 1:25-cv-00766-JEB Document 214 Filed 12/22/25 Page 2 of 2 /s/ James E. Boasberg JAMES E. BOASBERG United States District Judge
BREAKING: Judge James Boasberg rules for those deported under the Alien Enemies Act on March 15 β certifying a class, finding the U.S. maintained constructive custody over them at CECOT, finding they were not given due process, and ordering return or that such process be given by Jan. 5, 2026.
