The last three primaries were rigged to force the establishment Dem on us despite popular opinion,
And, Democrats count on exactly that math to keep doing it, and they don’t actually care if they lose. So how long will we keep letting them run this play on us?
We have two years to hold the Democrats accountable to this expectation for 2028, and so many are content to ride it out with Gavin Newsom. DEMAND BETTER or you’ll never get it.
We should be demanding the Democrats give us worthy candidates who earn the right to represent us.
Instead, we’ve treated our ballots like a blank check. And they use it to cave on everything.
And worse, we’ve let them convince us that to express any indignation at this arrangement is a betrayal.
“Vote Blue No Matter Who” is the most pessimistic way to engage in politics.
You’re saying “I don’t have values, I have affiliations.”
And it’s exactly why our halls of power are filled with Democrats who are spineless compromised cowards.

Time for another report on how we’ve been doing! As of today, we’ve spent nearly $18k at local, immigrant-owned businesses & have provided ~2000 meals to people experiencing unhoused homelessness or food insecurity.

It’s been another busy week dealing with the ICE occupation in Minneapolis, but I wanted to give you a Burrito update!
We started this project just over 5 weeks ago, and since then we’ve provided over 1150 meals for people, and spent almost $12k at local, immigrant-owned restaurants!
Hi everyone! We’ve been super busy delivering meals the past two weeks- the extreme cold has made this more necessary than ever. MIWRC has been operating as an emergency warning shelter for most of the month and we’ve been really fortunate to help keep hot meals available there for people in need.
We’re still fundraising the below initiative. We’ve been providing daily food to a warming center as well direct encampments aid, and have pumped thousands of $$ into struggling immigrant-owned businesses. Help us keep it up!

This is one of the stories I've tried to convey for a while now:
The Trump administration and its allies have long invoked faith to justify policies, appeal to certain groups, etc.
But the president's religious critics have *also* long been numerous, and increasingly loud.
We delivered pizzas to our unhoused neighbors today to get them a hot lunch on such a cold day (0° with -16° windchill at noon). So fresh they steamed up the windows!

One thing that everyone outside of Minneapolis needs to know is how incredibly useless Mayor Frey and Governor Walz have been in light of what we’re facing, and it’s really frustrating to see how many of yall are falling for their sound-byte “solidarity”.

The reason that Mayor Frey and Governor Walz can’t muster much more than selective outrage is because there’s nothing you can say about ICE that isn’t also true of the Minneapolis Police Department, who both swore allegiance to against pervasive evidence of corruption and rights violations.
Thinking about becoming an ICE chaplain so I can just yell “REPENT!” and “Woe to you evildoers!” at them all day.
