Ah! See? I figured someone had already made this LOL
There needs to be a site where you can go to see if the Strait of Hormuz is open or closed. At the top, the question: "Is the strait open?" Then, in huge block letters, YES or NO.

I didn't see if they're on blusky, but you can find more of Neetiska's work here: necrimosa.tumblr.com
Isn't it? Really a great image
Lush illustration of a young girl standing on a small boat and there's flowers and green plants viewable in the water while the surrounding environment is wintery, with snow everywhere.

We have lost our way
Vellum or acetate, either/or.
No, that that I'm aware of. Typically with these two color illustrations, there would be a base illustration and then the 2nd color (maybe here it was the black?) was on a sheet of vellum that was registered over it.
Fun illustration of a young girl pointing at items on a table. Her eyes are closed.
Fun illustration of a hand picking up a diminutive Napoleon out of a top hat, a la magician's rabbit.
More Smath! 1961 and 1965.

Fun illustration in two colors: black and blue of a young girl holding up a piece of paper.
Fun illustation of a man in a rocket with swirly cues for exhaust.

I try! ✨👍✨
Sure thing! And yes, I agree with you - I miss this style as well. I'm heavily influenced by it, but I realize my limitations, creatively, haha
There are a few who are pretty good at maintaining this style. Here's one on IG I think you'll dig: www.instagram.com/carmenodonne...
Fun illustration of a man with a mustache working on a wild, crazy contraption with wheels and buttons and levers and gadgets and whozits.

And btw I really love the animation on this jumping car! Great job on it!
Oh I bet that IS fun!
I think there are some people out there who might not fully grasp the notion that you can mix it up. I dunno!
Especially to his political career and judge of character. Ugh.
Here’s a Cocoa Puffs ad I directed and did a lot of animation on - so you can see the big combination of ones and twos happening here: youtu.be/Mn6cDaHLaMo?...
When I started developing my method of animating in the 1990s, I fully embraced the notion that the best way to animate was with a combination of ones and twos. Mix it up. Your work becomes more vibrant and full of life.
Stylized illustration of a man walking in a dilapidated castle with a lantern and there's a shadowy figure following him.

That is a great book. It's my go-to whenever I need some inspiration (yes, better than pinterest)
FYI I really miss writing about animation *sigh*
Oh, and would ya look at that. I posted about this book back in 2007, on Drawn! (remember that blog?), as well as on my own blog, The Ward-O-Matic: wardomatic.blogspot.com/2007/11/insi...
And sadly, the studio was torn down years ago. :( The location was 4440 Lakeside Drive, Burbank, CA.
I have this book! It's a modest sized softcover book, but it's a fascinating account of the people and of the beautiful studio that was UPA. (I don't have access to it atm, so I don't know what volume # I have)
Omg he totally tipped only because it was mentioned! Of course
Doordasher here. My first question here would be DID HE TIP. Because I can almost guess he didn’t
Ha! Oh I totally get it. I think my mom wishes I was more on there, but she's on IG so that placates her at least
