omigosh hi! i’ve noticed the same thing, that most people around me feel inspired to create when given permission to relax and have fun.

(sorry i wasn’t being very clear! this was the image i reposted that i felt a lot of creative people could benefit from 💕)

oh my goodness! i can relate, it sometimes feels like my toddlers are trying to die and i exist to stop this from happening

i’ve found for myself though that i don’t feel much fulfillment when i prioritize fun or silliness in my process. composing music is often very hard for me but it feels amazing to prove to myself i can do hard things

do not ask yourself whether or art is good instead ask is it sincere was it cathartic was it fun to make is it made by me and don’t forget to stay silly
