And yes, that window resizing prototype is stilla feature in game. In fact most of the build and buy mode stuff can be resized (windows, doors, arches, sofas, couches, counters, cuboards, tables, beds...)

Did you know that the first time we heard about Paralives was almost 7 years ago: 30 June 2019 in a tweet by Alex Massé? This showed the Unity prototype of Paralives that Alex had been building for 6 months, since he quit his gamed dev job in January that year.

Exactly this!! and I also like the lateral moves too! Like for example a para who’s a receptionist at the clinic is also in the services industry. Perhaps they want to advance in that services industry branch rather than medical? And become a customer care specialist at another company??

All of them are rabbit holes! They may or may not open the up - they made no promises about this. Honestly I’m fine with that because I find working white boring in sims games lol

Hahaha honestly I’m having such a ridiculously good time exploring all those features I never paid attention to!

I love the way they have designed this to be honest - I always disliked the implication in The Sims worlds that all nurses are "wannabe doctors" or that a waiter is always a frustrated chef. It's a really fresh way to look at careers, less linear, and more focused on workplace conditions too

And of course, they can also decide to remain a waiter, and as they progress,m they can decide to change to a better workplace (e.g. from a diner to a fancy restaurant, where they'll be able to earn more money).

To illustrate this: a waiter works in the service+food industries. As they progress, they can update their rank (better paid waiter) or their experience (with expertise perks). The expertise can be used to apply to other better paid jobs in the service industry, or in the food industry (e.g. chef)

3️⃣5️⃣ Days Until Paralives Early Access Did you know that there are 11 career tracks so far? Each career has several separate jobs and progression is not linear (eg a waiter doesn’t become a chef but a better paid waiter). For some jobs you can do them at different workplaces with different conditions

Sunset Valley had 90!! They will be adding world editing tools ( which I assume will allow us to add more lots) during esrly access too

I don’t know but I don’t think so! but in any event I just enabled Ambitions right before he aged into a teen (I only enable the next pack when the next heir is about to become a teenager)

It has a beach, it‘s very walkable (there’s a functional bus line tho!) and inspired by Quebec / European architecture

Not sure how comparable this is, but its interesting that (I'm sure for some legal obligation) they disclose the price per 100 cryptos. And TS4 currency is more expensive than TS3 - most expensive TS3 package is at 70c/100 points; that's less than the least expensive TS4 package (91c/100 points)

According to a notification, at higher inventing levels you can blow stuff up. So of course Charlie got to work on that inventing skill as soon as he turned into a teen
