Just a correction: her name is Marie Skłodowska-Curie, that’s how she signed the documents, even Nobel prize. Is the omission of her Polish surname part only due to how hard it is to remember or pronounce for non-Polish people? If yes, that’s a terrible reason to cut off part of someone’s surname.

I truly believe that every human is a creative at heart. Artists are just the ones that prioritize it, for whatever reason. And sadly there are many artists that are forced to prioritize something else.

Very good points! For me, as an artist working with images of bodies, it’s really important that I’m treated with respect and understanding, unlike on META where I’m constantly shadowbanned and canceled for no good reason.

“Deepswap AI (…) is a tool that allows users to create lifelike deepfake photos and videos for US$9.99 per month. Pop-up ads for the app on MrDeepFakes have included images and videos captioned with “Deepfake anyone you want” and “Make AI porn in a sec”.
