I have been waking up with this one single thought every day.

There’s a big difference between loosey goosey and allowing your kids space to take low stakes risks. I also believe that there’s a lot of harm to be done by hanging onto our kids too tightly as well. I think you’re doing a great job of finding balance with this. You’re a great mom. ❤️

Welp, I just wrote to my city councillor for the first time ever. Not sure that it’s going to do anything, but it feels better to do SOMETHING.

I feel like I can’t handle one more piece of bad news - the world, my province, and my city are all going to hell. It’s getting harder and harder to hang on to any shred of optimism or hope.
