The Iberian Chiffchaff showed well this morning on Westleton Heath in the SE corner
Carlton Marshes today 2 Common Cranes flew south, 2 Cattle Egrets (over the river) 3 Med Gulls

Missed the Red-rumped Swallow by 10 minutes at Minsmere this morning, wasn’t seen after 8.30 but 2 Spoonbills, male Ring Ouzel, 2 Whimbrel, 2 Common Terns also first Whitethroat of the year
Good walk this morning from Southwold to Kessingland, somehow the male Pallid Harrier got past me but did see a White-tailed Eagle and Whimbrel, a Nuthatch flying south along the cliff top was a surprise

Drake American Wigeon showed well this morning from North Hide, Peto’s Marsh, Carlton also a smart ‘sinensis’ cormorant
Good days birding at Minsmere and Carlton Marshes, drake American Wigeon, Tundra Bean Goose, 3 Whooper Swans and 2 Firecrests the best. Great to see Gerald Jobson out still enjoying his birding
Three Black Redstarts at Sheringham today, excellent views of the Eastern and just a little further east along the front two normal Black Redstarts including a smart male, also three Glossy Ibis at Stifkey opposite Red Lion pub
Early start paid off this morning with excellent views of the Humes Warbler at the south end of the Denes Oval, Lowestoft
No luck today at Hen Reedbeds with the Twite or Tundra Bean Geese but saw Caspian Gull, adult YLGull and RBMerganser
