Hell yeah! Big Congrats again!!!
It’s nice to be proud to see someone from Arizona showing up in the news after the years of whatever the hell Sinema was doing and all the racial profiling shit before that. (McCain standing up to Trump was cool too though, wish any living Republicans had a spine/weren’t complicit in the madness)
I think that the United States should agree to switch over to the metric system in exchange for no one else ever calling Z "zed" ever again.
Btw if you live in Boston or know people who do, tell them to contact the mayor's office to stand against this:

And here's the education board, who you can contact directly (and respectfully) on this issue:

Go complain! It helps!
Ys IX really did have Adol’s design go from “I’ll have her home by 8” to “your daughter calls me daddy too”

For me, it’s a toss up between when I beat Sonic 3 for the first time when I was somewhere between 6 and 8 (it was the first game I ever remember beating and I was so happy after finally beating Big Arms) or when I managed to finally beat Ikaruga while I was in Jr High.
10. Soul Hackers 2
Liked the game quite a bit and was super excited to learn the game when a bunch of stuff was fixed in patches, then it turned out a lot of the run was “grind encounters in area A so you can grind materials in area B, to get an upgrade to let you grind better” for ~6 hours.
9. Final Fantasy 15
I originally only had the PC version which turned the gaming laptop I had at the time into such an oven that I attribute the motherboard of that laptop getting completely fried to FF15... By the time I got the game on PS4 and the means to capture gameplay, I was sorta over it. 😅
8. Devil May Cry 3
One of my favorite games of all time so it was pretty high on my list of games I wanted to run, until I found out the run ran Royal Guard the whole time which is by far my least favorite way to play the game.
7. Persona 5
Wanted to when I first got into Megaten runs was dissuaded by the following: 15+ hour run at the time, Royal’s run being shorter but also more boring, the (at the time) super volatile OoB being discovered making the route MORE unstable, several hours of joker sleeping, etc.
6. Metroid Dread
I tried learning any% NMG at one point in the earlier days of the run but got stuck trying to learn early grapple. As it turns out, wired switch controllers have a slight input delay on them that I wasn’t aware of until years later that was making the trick much harder to do. 🙃
5. Trails in the Sky 3rd Chapter
This one boils down to a combination of laziness and me having a bit of a falling out with the series after not liking Azure very much. Hoping to get into running it and maybe Zero at some point in the future though.
4. Megaman Battle Network 6 Cybeast Gregar
This has been one of those “I swear I’m going to learn this SOON, but I just haven’t yet” runs for going on 5 years now. Love the game and the run looks fun, I just get distracted very easily 😂
3. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night (can be expanded to the majority of IGAvania games)
Loved the game when it came out and wanted to be an early runner of it, until I saw what the primary movement tech was and how miserable it’d be to execute constantly so I opted not to.
2. Megaman X Command Mission
Tried learning this for a 12 hour challenge once and found the run itself to be a bit uninteresting/I’m really bad at mashing out DP inputs quickly which is the primary strat for killing things quickly with Zero’s Action Trigger. So skill issue 😅
1. Metroid Zero Mission
I tried to learn it a few times but got walled by how irritating the Mother Brain fight can be at relatively low item%
Get to know my speedrun backlog. 1 like = 1 game I wanted to speedrun but didn’t
Ehh why the heck not?
It’s gonna hit 102 later this week. Anyone wanna be magically donated 50 degrees?
Super excited to be running Shin Megami Tensei 4 for this event!

It’s hard to blame woke DEI when the military is losing a war because of the straits.
Digital Painting of a younger Estelle and Joshua Bright from Trails in the Sky. Their practice weapons are scattered above them. They are laying on the grass as speckles of light shines warmly upon them through the rustling leaves. Joshua is gazing upon Estelle’s cheery laughing face, illuminated by the warm midday sun.

Oh yeah I caught Covid in 2020 before the vaccine was available, had what was considered a fairly “moderate” case of it and I was basically stuck in bed for two whole weeks. It was probably the most sick I’ve ever been in my life. So as soon as the vaccine became publicly available I was on it.
Hopefully you feel better soon! I’ve been fighting with something this week as well and I’m finally feeling mostly better except my tonsils are still quite unhappy. Hopefully it’s just the tail end of a cold and not something worse
I hope you feel better soon!
