Helpfully, #Eurail have included a link to the UK National Cyber Security Centre, which I am not going to click because they've allowed my details to be stolen.

Not great getting an email from #eurail advising me of a massive data breach. How do I know it's even from them, given that the data thieves now have my email address?
OMFG I had to go and check that this ACTUALLY happened.
Since when does the BBC ever do chyrons with a political party's branding, rather than their own? Not to mention this is during a pre-election campaign purdah.

Has anyone ever eaten an entire 250g Lidl saucisson sec in one afternoon? If so, were there any adverse effects?
I worked in what is now the hotel, but was formerly offices, and had a good view over the site.
Some cracking photos here, including the interior in 2007 which is just before the main building was altered - www.trove.scot/place/139288...
AFAIK this portion was offices connected to an adjacent transformer station within the building to the left. It's all been massively altered, and the transformers moved outdoors. I think the main façade is retained, and there's a newish workshop type building in there.
People need to stop buying and using Anerican goods as far as they can. Start with the easy stuff. If nobody listens to American music on Spotify apart from Americans, someone will notice.
My friend David is taking part in the London Marathon next weekend and raising sponsorship for a very good cause. It would be great if we could get him past the £3k mark. 2026tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/david-key...
A Scottish morning roll open to receive a large piece of quiche lorraine.
Classic Scottish leftie lunch. Roll and quiche. Cannot be beaten.
Richard Tice doesn't need to resign, by the way, because unlike real political parties, Reform make no pretence of having a facade of political correctness. Their model is disruption, and what better way to disrupt a country than to avoid paying tax.
Looking forward to Reform supporters saying that what Angela Rayner did was careless and what Richard Tice has done is smart, and that's the difference.
When Angela Rayner underpaid £40,000 in stamp duty, Richard Tice said it was "morally completely indefensible” and she should resign if she had “any moral decency”.
Now we learn he set up four shell companies that let him avoid paying £100,000 he owed in tax and to then transfer the cash to Reform
What should have happened: the REIT paid no tax but the Tice companies holding shares in the REIT paid £98k tax on the dividends they received. What actually happened: none of the companies paid any tax.
Our new report: Richard Tice signed accounts wrongly claiming £98,000 of tax exemptions
A 🧵 with the evidence:
That's a stat and a half!

Petition to make Gabby Logan permanent presenter of #hignfy
After hearing what the panel would block out their diaries for, there's no way any of you get to call fans of other clubs weirdos. 😄
We have a useful deep cellar accessed from outdoors but it has solid walls against soggy clay. It's basically a giant cold wine cellar that evaporatively cools the house. The services hang from the GF joists so insulating from below is fraught with dew point danger.
As a badly insulated 1930s house dweller, this was a good read. At present I'm pondering replacing the cement render to make our house more breathable rather than airtight.
Canned haggis and insole kept the Argylls going in 1982. I don't know what the problem is.

I drafted something pithy an hour ago that got caught in the Bsky downtime. It was great. Very funny and clever.

Shocked but not surprised at #bbc ongoing campaign on immigration issues. Lead story on #BBCRadio2 where we heard about how "they" apply for post-study work visas but "nobody checks". Reform name checked of course...

A small number of people are being exploited by a few very dodgy advisors to try to game a loaded system. In the opening paragraphs the BBC manages to make this sound like it's the exploited who are the problem.
