in honor of The Onion officially taking over InfoWars, what’s a conspiracy theory you 100% believe?

Michael Jordan was doing the exact same shit as Pete Rose (gambling on games his team played in) during his playing career and Nike+the NBA have…done what it took to keep that quiet.

i think folks might be unfamiliar with "the pharisees", so let's make it clear: he's saying the jews run the press, and that they are conspiring to undermine the military. it's not just antisemitism, it's indistinguishable from nazism.

Tell Congress to Say No to Warrantless AI Mass Surveillance The War on Terror-era legislation that authorized decades of civil liberties-eroding mass surveillance is set to expire on April 19. Congress should let it die. Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence...

Four Democrats voted with the GOP on reauthorizing a little-known law that lets the government sidestep the Constitution and spy on US citizens.

If you’re represented by Gluesenkamp Perez, Golden, Gottheimer, or Suozzi, ask them why they’re siding with the Trump regime on government surveillance.

70% of people don’t feel loved as much or as often as they’d like, this new book explains who to build stronger relationships

The 3 words that everyone loves to hear? They’re not “I love you" or "you were right".

Those three words are “tell me more.” www.powerofusnewsletter.com/p/how-to-fee...

I love, love, love, Internet Archive's live show recordings. Bootleggers have recording rigs that rival studio recordings of live albums. Here are his recordings:

Towards a People-centered Regulatory Democracy If properly implemented, a comprehensive reform program to accomplish regulatory democracy that is people-centered and power-conscious could be essential for addressing complex policy changes such as ...

The goal of regulatory democracy should be to surface and channel productive disagreement, not chase consensus. This is so good @jamesgoodwin.bsky.social !!

Congress should force every single federal employee who was present at this meeting to testify about it.

As a formal federal employee, I really can’t express enough how much government researchers and employees really believed in their work and serving the public interest.

Things that help calm the nervous system, quickly:

- Box breathing (in for 4, hold for 4, out for 4, hold for 4, repeat)
- Immerse your face in cold water (activates mammalian dive reflex)
- Humming (stimulates vagus nerve)
- Exercise (anything helps, outside even better)
- Impeachment and removal

I don't remember seeing an image of Earth before that captures the (thin, fragile, tiny layer of) atmosphere so clearly. I mean, look at that.

Of The Empire
We will be known as a culture that feared death and adored power, that tried to vanquish insecurity for the few and cared little for the penury of the many. We will be known as a culture that taught and rewarded the amassing of things, that spoke little if at all about the quality of life for people (other people), for dogs, for rivers. All the world, in our eyes, they will say, was a commodity. And they will say that this structure was held together politically, which it was, and they will say also that our politics was no more than an apparatus to accommodate the feelings of the heart, and that the heart, in those days, was small, and hard, and full of meanness.

Obviously not a substitute for Congress doing its job, but now would be a good time for Clinton, W, Obama, and Biden to say something jointly.

I mean, this seems more like a "take over the House floor and get arrested" moment, but at least a move toward impeachment would be *something.*

The dying pedophile in charge of the U.S. government is threatening to destroy a civilization in an unconstitutional war of aggression launched for absolutely no reason.

If Republicans in Congress cared about America, or the constitution, or anything, they’d stop this. They believe in nothing.

Earth and Moon from DSCOVR NASA's Earth Polychromatic Imaging Camera (EPIC) aboard the Deep Space Climate Observatory (DSCOVR) satellite captured this unique view of the Moon as it moved in front of the sunlit side of Earth last month. This view shows the fully illuminated “dark side” of the moon that is never visible from Earth. Ian Regan processed this version of the image to account for the Moon's motion. Constitutional lawyer here. I don't think it would violate the Constitution for the VP/Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, but the intended constitutional remedy for this behavior is impeachment & removal. The fact that that remedy is politically impossible is a scandal and a crisis.
