The downside of the Artemis II mission is now all my social feeds are jammed full of AI slop masquerading as images from or about space.
I still have a lot of issues with the end of the comic series and what imagine the show will do too. But it’s still fun.

My Saturday morning D&D kids are a bit younger and newer to the game and they struggle to remember to track their spell slots. So today I gave them all poker chips with their spell levels marked and they have to give me them when they use spells.

It was incredible. The dice told a fucking story.

The Celestial Warlock gets a nat 20 on his death save. Suddenly he’s back with 1hp. He casts Revivify to bring the Wizard back to life.
The Wizard casts Fireball.
The dragon gets a nat 1 on its dex save.
48 damage.
It had 39 health.
The dead wizard came back to life & blowed up the dragon
So all 5 kids are in death saves. Except the Wizard who flat out died from the damage he got from his natty 1 save.
At this point the kids are packing up to leave, it’s basically a TPK to end the week. It’s all fun and games because it was a bonus fight so no one was mad but still a bummer vibe 3/
The kids do okay at first but the first breath weapon has been devastating. Then on the second round I rolled my d6 in plain sight so the kids could see if it recharged. It did. All 5 kids failed their dex saves. Two got nat 1s.
I home rule that nat 1s on saves do double damage like crits. 2/
Had a truly epic finale to my fourth week of Spring Break D&D camp. The kids finished their last quest so i asked if they wanted to do epilogues or fight a dragon. They wanted to fight a dragon. Obv.
So I put a Young White Dragon on the table with some kobold minions and we rolled initiative. 1/
Respect to the Artemis crew cause I definitely understand peacing out of Florida to head to California.
