Elly from Touhou 4 - Lotus Land Story. she's sitting on the gate to wherever Yuuka's house is, which is located in the middle of the lake Kurumi was guarding. the protagonist had to make her way through the rocky mountains, strange glass formations and enemies that were bombarding them with danmaku. but of course, that isn't depicted here. apart from the background elements, the mountains and the weird glass things are here. elly touhou project ... pc98 ... wow... lotus land story ... oh my gah... 東方Project ... 東方 ... ain't dat crazy

elly! arguably the most iconic and most forgettable touhou character. yikes

tried more background practice with this one. had to shaft elly's lighting in favor of the bg.. sorry!

Kurumi from Touhou 4 - Lotus Land Story, the second to last PC-98 entry in the series. In the game, Kurumi is found on a tiny island inside of the mountain's lake, with 6 stone pillars placed like a hexagon's points around the middle of the island. The lake from the game's mountain is behind her, with two of the stone pillars standing tall behind Kurumi, who is floating in place. Posed with her arms up and wings spread out to look more menacing under the moon. The moon shines down on her and the lake behind her, tinting the lake with a purple color. Some dark clouds fill the night sky as well.
