It is terribly cold out today but Penny and Hubert remind us to snuggle under warm blankets and fresh straw, eat healthy food, drink warm water, and stay cuddled up with someone you love! 💕🐽💕

Finally some real snow! It is beautiful out there! Thunder is doing ok. He’s eating and keeping up with the herd and tired of the injections (one more to go today) and cleaning his jaw but he is so patient with us and we want him to feel better as much as he does! ❤️

He is the best patient and is still eating well and keeping up with the herd. Like Dr. Raul said “he’s still fighting so we’re still fighting”. He will need follow up vet care and possibly a specialist. If you are able to help with his vet bills, we would truly appreciate it.

They removed the one today and he’ll be on pain meds and antibiotics for the next few weeks hoping that will clear it up for him. Thunder has been through so much and is also aging, we are afraid that his poor body can’t handle much more but he is such a trooper.

Thunder had an infected tooth that we tried to treat with antibiotics but were unsuccessful. He went to see Dr. Raul today and needed to have one tooth removed. Another was already missing and a third that is also affected but would require a dental specialist and surgery to remove.
