In Europe, Germany, France & Italy have seen the highest number of incidents, likely a reflection of the scale of their healthcare systems, but also of their strategic importance.

Cyberattacks rarely make noise, until it’s too late.
Once the cyberattack starts, it can go on for days, silently impacting systems and delaying critical care.

There are several methods. The most common include hijacking, disruption, data theft, ransomware, and data theft combined with doxing.

🚨 The number of reported cyber incidents in healthcare has risen dramatically between 2019 and 2024.
