I did a purge of my inboxes this morning and worked out that I'm averaging about 10 email pitches a day. How many authors must exist to support an ecosystem of that many book bots?

Been rather exhausted this week, but since I still had to play taxi unti late last night, I spent some of my wait time getting some writing done in a cafe. It's a short story I've been chipping at. Wordcount should be very modest compared to other pieces, but at least I am producing. #amwriting

'Stand By Me' was a movie our family had been meaning to watch for a long while, and 'lo and behold we got to see it in the best possible way tonight--in the theatre, for a short 40th aniversary run. When released, I was the age of the kids but this time, it's my kids who are the same age. Poignant.
