If you're in Montreal just go to Dawson College on April 1st. Atwater station on the green line. Ya can't miss it, it's right there when you exit the metro, attached to Alexis-Nihon Plaza. If you can't go, then tell someone else you know who can. Again, extra important if you're not white, because your communities are dying without enough representation in the bone marrow registry, so go fix this please!

And why's it always the same ppl who think celebrities shouldn't be put on pedestals THE SAME PEOPLE who insist celebs be vocal about all current events (in the right way) and be required to deliver apologies in a very specific way (that'll never be good enough anyway)? Just wtf's wrong with yall?

I realize a Venn diagram of ppl who pick on her VS ppl who are misogynistic or just plain nasty = a big circle. I'm using Roan as an example, but this is true for the ways people treat celebrities in general. Celebrities don't owe you anything. Stop being so dense about this.

These folks somehow don't understand that Roan doesn't owe anyone a long typed-out apology for every single mistake she might or might not have made. She's a human being, not some kind of morality idol machine.

I'm not even a fan of Chappell Roan, but I'm repulsed by the way people hound her, calling her out on any little thing she does. People don't like seeing a young woman succeed, and that's truly all it is; even if they don't realize that's what's driving them to react this way.
