It feels good to be enjoying things again

A couple of months ago, I wasn’t enjoying anything and was questioning whether I’d ever enjoy watching sport or TV shows again. In hindsight, I was obviously depressed

This week, I’ve really enjoyed watching the curling and the latest episode of ‘Industry’

He died when I was the same age that Christian Bale’s character is in the film.
I really wish I’d been able to get to know him properly.

I’m watching Empire of the Sun. Can’t work out if I’ve seen it before.

I knew it had a connection to my Granddad, Eric Flynn, because he also grew up in a Chinese POW camp, but I’d forgotten that he was actually cast in the film!
It was overwhelming to see a close up of his face at the 1h 10m mark
