This one has a strong Ben Garrison vibe. And it popped up here about an hour after Melania's press conference. No way a human cartoonist to flip around a hyper-detailed (albeit terrible) image that fast.
Note how all this things look like they're drawn by the dsame "hand." The caricatures, which couldn't be duller, are almost exactly the same.
Then there's the ideas, which are invariably garbage. What does this one mean? Why are Trump, Musk, etc ballerinas?
But sometimes they ARE signed, with fake names. If in doubt, just google the name to see if such a cartoonist exists. In this case, the answer is no.
This one has the usual AI traits. The mini hat on the desk, the tie that is not attached. The nameplate inexplicably split in half.
Horrible computer type, pointless stealing of other cartoon characters (why the hell is Popeye here??), and there's that yuck color palette again.
AI cartoons usually don't have signatures.
Excessive labels, 800 things happening at once, stylistically dull.
AI generators have obviously trained themselves on Ben Garrison cartoons. Now it's pretty friggin hilarious that wackadoodle Benji is the cartoonist most exploited by AI, but the last thing the world needs is MORE Garrison.
AI slop. How many labels can be added to an image? And where's the joke?
This should be a no-brainer. For Christ's sake STOP Posting obvious AI-generated political cartoons! Bluesky is awash in this shit these days. There are tons of real live human political cartoonists here, posting terrific work. Repost those.
If you're unclear, here's how to spot AI slop:

Türkiye is preparing to introduce a system that would require users to register for social media platforms with their official identity information, Justice Minister Akın Gürlek has said, marking a significant step toward ending anonymous accounts. Gürlek stated that discussions with major social media companies have been completed and that the platforms have agreed in principle to the new framework. Under the planned regulation, individuals opening social media accounts would be required to verify their identity. “A person who opens an account and commits a crime on social media must face consequences,” Gürlek said, arguing that digital platforms should operate under clear legal rules similar to other areas of public life. He also criticized the spread of misinformation and what he described as “trial by social media,” where users publicly judge individuals and events without due process. The proposal, which is expected to be submitted to parliament as part of a legislative package, includes a transition period to phase out anonymous and automated accounts. According to Gürlek, accounts that fail to comply with the new requirements could be removed by platforms during this process. Once the law is passed, authorities anticipate a three-month implementation period to establish the necessary technical infrastructure.
The Turkish government is planning to require social media users to register accounts under their real names with the goal of ending anon accounts.
I really fear we are not understanding the cliff we're approaching around the world re: online anonymity.
