Not me modifying my cape process at the last minute bc the new episode reveals more about how it's assembled (life has been hectic lately so i haven't even gotten to touch my sewing machine in weeks so this isn't a delay :') i probably won't be sewing again after this weekend until at least may rip)

Oh gosh, I just printed her out and glued her to some cardboard 🫣 She's nothing fancy! I didn't even give her a stand; she just leans awkwardly against the wall (or, as she is currently, wedges partially behind a bookcase lol)

Heh thank you!! She was a bit of a pain to make, but she was required Birthday Decor!
What will become of her post-party remains to be seen, but for now she watches over us all

At anime night this week someone brought up a manga and I was like "oh yeah, I tried to read that multiple times but it's so awful I just couldn't get more than a few chapters in" and then they proceeded to talk about how much they like it for a few minutes while I attempted to melt into the couch

He's the pleated star variant of the isopod pattern from CholyKnight on etsy! Hopefully my friend likes him, though I foolishly completed the project over a month in advance so I won't know for a while.

I'm not usually an acrylic standee person but the Retro Pop and Natalie Store Tokyo Mew Mew ones,,, they got me right in the ole doki doki,,,,

I just realized I never mentioned that the pattern is from Eufiemoon on etsy! I made a few tweaks (slightly different leg positioning/handling, different hands, embroidered face and butthole) but the base pattern is from there! :) I'm looking forward to making more of these little friends using it!
