Maybe this article is a balanced exploration of the topic presenting all available information. Undoubtedly they chose this headline because of the algorithm. But they've sold their credibility for a featured spot.
Why is this so? Maybe this writer is very smart. Maybe this article is great! But their first message to me is "I've chosen your conclusion for you already." I can't trust this writer to teach me anything.
This is why Substack drives me crazy now. I like to learn. I like to understand things. I can't learn anything from a writer who has already picked the conclusion for me.

As a Canadian, I am used to bureaucracy being complicated but solvable. I remember taxes being painful, but the rules were clear if you dug deep enough. In the US, even experts are cagey about what the rules actually mean, and the interpretation changes.

So, going to have to limit my Salamander Mines poster to US/Canada only. I'm getting really contradictory information about shipping international--crazy prices, added taxes and duties. Unfortunately, it just seems too risky.
Books I can still do using Drive-thru, but no poster is disappointing. :(
As I dig deeper, I'm finding a lot of confusion associated with shipping international. USPS online tools give me contradictory information. Shipping posters in tubes seems kind of risky.
I have a dilemma. I'm about to launch a Backerkit campaign for my megadungeon poster. Some folks are saying don't ship outside the US because of uncertain and changing costs. Should I make this US only? Seems kind of sad, but also I don't want to set up unnecessary risk...
