A small brown and white bird with a curved bill clings to the bark of a mature elm tree, in a scene of absolute camoflauge.

While having lunch in the heat(!) on the front steps, my wife and I noticed that almost each boulevard elm tree sported its own tiny brown creeper. What an adorable invasion, over as quickly as it began. #birds
