It's weird though. I'm not big on religion. Got into Taoism and eastern things in the late 60s and 70s like everyone else. But my mom and sister stayed with it and I kind of like knowing catholic things, like knowing the inner workings of a cult, hah. Dad got mom into it, then he dropped out, lol.

Same. My siblings and I left and transferred to public school after I begged because of how awful the nuns were. Mom transferred all of us after my 1st communion, so 1st and 2nd grade for me, then catechism classes on weekends. Stopped doing catholic church entirely in high school in the 70s.
