Entwirrung is the opposite of Verwirrung, and good reason as to why the symbolic image of solving a problem is also sometimes depicted as solving a knot.

And here we see why speaking both languages well, and additionally having artistic skills, one can make images of the methaphors, and make things seen which were before not.

Culture and language go hand in hand.

So much so that there are words and patterns often only known in one culture and language, rarely traveling beyond it.

Have you ever heard the German word 'Kabelsalat'? Maybe not, but the phenomenon is pretty well known I think.

"We, in America, and more broadly the West..." Been a lot more happening those past 50 years than just American and Western cultural events though. As a matter of fact, way before there was such a thing as America or "the West". Do some traveling and visit some cultures outside your own sphere.

"All cultures are now equal" What bullshit, lol. They're not. Anyone with a smidget of humanities knowledge easily argues against this. They're different and that what makes it great. Criticism is also not forbidden. On the contrary. Cultures are dependent even on their own criticism to evolve.

And when I had read both of them a couple years ago for the first time, I had one of those big epiphanies (or eureka moments) cause my mind did exactly that. Having an idea, an 'Aha' moment.

Wikipedia gives me form and pattern, which is funny, cause form-giving is mentioned in Victor Papanek's Design for the Real World, and Pattern-Seekers is the title of Simon-Baron Cohen's book about autistic people.

Best I can give you is Arthur Koestler's The Act of Creation, though it's more a description of how creative thinking works that leads to ideas.

Having to solve problems actually makes you smarter. If everything is done for you by others you learn nothing yourself, and once the "convenience" is gone you feel helpless. But via overly simplified mass services, this is exactly how big companies can control entire societies slowly over time.

Ich kenn tatsächlich Leute die noch den eisernen Vorhang miterlebt haben und Geschichten davon erzählen wie Scheiße das war, als Familien oder Freunde dadurch getrennt wurden. Big-Tech ist recht scheiße und Datenschutz ist wichtig, aber wenn dämliche Regierungen sich einmischen wirds nicht besser.

Ich hab neulich einer Passantin dabei geholfen auf ihrem Handy WhatsApp wieder zu installieren und durch all die beschissene Werbung zu finden. Sie wollt größtenteils mit Familienangehörigen wieder kommunizieren können. Was hier mittlerweile abgeht ala. Silicon Curtain ist echt nicht mehr witzig.

Or white head hair and white/black alternating collar. I feel like the collar just needs to be white at least on the edges to have some contrast to the armor. Blends into it too much otherwise.

White collar/neck fur (whatever that thing is called). Mostly white hair on the head, tho maybe add a small black strand to it, or some other black/white hair combination.
