To keep me and Dave out!
A binge that would leave you in a desperate state. Please don't.
Very much so sir, and it gets a mention in Episode 2 of our first season when we discuss "Glad it's All Over". After about 12 mins. (I had to check...)
And thank you
In fondest memory of Prince, who left us on this day 10 years ago... The day after Victoria Wood. What a double body blow to the world. I only discovered this tune during lockdown, and it was my go to theme for that strange, hopefully never-repeated, period.

Thank you, as always, Jeff for your support. I think we will use this format again.
Have just listened to this latest episode and another brilliant one guys. Liked how you focused on two artists and discussed more on their albums. Will be interesting to listen to these albums in full. Look forward to hearing your next episode.
10 years gone.

Me on cows
Every 12 months they kill five of us and we kill 2.8 million of them. Perhaps we’re the dangerous ones?

As ever, shout-outs to @p70.bsky.social @metalkevin.bsky.social and @allthatchas.bsky.social. Thanks to everyone for listening and support. In loving memory of Asha Bhosle and many others.
We have a new Episode! Season 2, Episode 7. And it's all about albums this time. Kraftwerk and Paul Hardcastle are the focus, with their wonderful works "Radioaktivitat" and "No Winners"... Do listen, subscribe and review.

So pleased to hear the boys back on good form on such a worthy subject. I'd forgotten about Martin... I always felt bad for him.
And anyway there's a new episode coming out on Monday to deflect your disappointment.
Half interest = no interest.
Nah. First year in a couple that a lie-in is available. Last year I spent enough for 2 years anyway
V. excited for Ep 7 as we turn the focus on to albums. Paul Hardcastle made everyone sit up and listen in the 1980s but this is a whole 80s concept album about the horror of nuclear war. Released in 1987 he asks "will there be a world in 40 years?" And the melodies? Sublime.
#NoWinners
This is simply unbeatable. Well done @allthatchas.bsky.social. And a worthy tribute to the great man.
Out now: a very special episode of Jesus Christ They’ve Done It!
When I set out on this podcast odyssey six months ago, my biggest dream was to interview Mick Jackson, the director of Threads.
Well, sometimes dreams come true. Enjoy!

You are so kind to us, sir. Thank you. Next episode we humbly follow in your slipstream as we discuss albums... 2 absolute crackers.
You know a podcast has reached new heights when they find a way to incorporate instrumentals into an episode and convincing you they are about nuclear war.
Well, Pank and Dave have done it again. A truly unique and excellent episode amongst the other imperial episodes they produce.
Gladiator 2. A complete thumbs down. Awful
The voice of my childhood, teens and ever since then, #AshaBonsle's magnificent voice and those of her sisters were heard every weekend in our family home as I grew up. @cornershophq.bsky.social paid her a fab tribute all those years ago, and we should all get our brimful today...
Oh no! You've just brought it to my attention. Very very sad..m
Yeah this was originally on the list for last year....
Hope that listeners who were previously unfamiliar with the magnificent Doris Norton have now had the opportunity for a much needed appreciation. In 1989 she did a whole nuclear album. It's fab. Your thoughts on her and our instrumental choices please...
