Noticed that there's often a lot of season by season variance in PSxG-GA/90. A GK can rank near the top of the league one season & then be near the bottom the next. Does this show that GK shot stopping form is relatively volatile or that the metric should only be used as a rough indicator (or both)?

In defence of Thelwell, our finances forced us to shop in a market mostly consisting of players low on confidence & whose parent club are desperate to sell, hence all of the loans with an option to buy. We're taking a low-risk gamble with these signings & so the failure rate will of course be high

Not sure why you are being so hostile. Pretty immature to react in such a fragile way just because somebody has voiced an opinion that differs from your own.

Just thought it was fair to defend Thelwell in this instance - I don't think it is weak leadership to decide against bringing in new coaching staff when the Head Coach does not want them.

Thelwell not sacking Dyche could be viewed as weak but that's a separate argument...
