In terms of motion clarity, resolution scaling and input latency they actually are superior to most modern LCDs lol. If I had a house with tons of space I would absolutely have a beast of an oak cabinet with an HD CRT in it

I've still literally never used AI once other than whatever Google tries to show me. Is there some kind of skill ceiling to it at all? I thought the entire point was to not have to learn how to do stuff for yourself

I used something with more materia slots because I’ve learned the key to really mastering the combat is to take advantage of EVERYTHING that can provide any ATB boost or let you do stuff without ATB, including First Strike, Skill Master, Synergy, etc

The biggest flaw of the first movie imo was Mario’s absolutely nothing arc, where he’s already incredibly courageous and reliable and he has to learn to keep doing what he’s doing even though everyone around him thinks he’s a fuckup for basically no reason

That's how I played it. It's great. Really captures the vibe it probably would have had if it got released here at the time

I think I did when I got to the scarecrows. Yeah Hard mode sucks because it mostly just makes all the enemies into huge damage sponges so fights take waayy too long. Easy mode is way more like playing Silent Hill 1 or 2, just a little bit of friction between scares and story beats

It offers you a choice to lower combat difficulty after you die a few times in a row lol

The combat really started to grate on me until about halfway through I just dropped the difficulty to easy. It's honestly a lot better that way.

Also appreciate that bathroom/shower is now one action (instead of selecting each one after the other) though I would have liked for one drink to give you the max stamina boost instead of having to drink three in a row still, even though there’s no reason I’d want to only drink 1 for a partial boost

Maybe my favorite quality of life change is the fact that recycling materials no longer forces you to sit through the little Thank You for Recycling fanfare every single time

The English voice acting in the new games suuuucks. I recommend playing in German (Zelda’s blood moon monologue sounds badass in German)

Death Stranding 2 rules so far and even in the first hour or two I’ve encountered maybe a dozen things that make me so stoked to play through it all. I love Kojima. I hope he never changes. I hope there’s a lady in PHSYINT just named “titties”

Whenever Hideo Kojima names a female character, he throws darts at a bulletin board with feminine sounding words like “pretty” “shy” and “smell nice” and also about sixty variations of “mommy” (finally playing DS2 and met a pregnant woman named “La Madre” lol)
