Honestly? Going through this game for the first time in a while was amazing. The music is still phenomenal, gameplay's fun and responsive, and is still one of the best platformers period. Can't think of anything genuinely bad about this game.
Nah, but if they don't sensationalise this like it's a brand new thing and claim Nintendo is the devil, where will they get their interactions?
(2/2) The same rings true with games inspired by classics like Freedom Planet or Gravity Circuit. Those games are allowed to exist on their own, comparing them to their inspirations and docking points because of things directly related to those older titles is pretty weird.
Was just casually watching a review and not gonna lie, hearing "comparisons to previous entries in the series are inevitable" bugs me. Like, you can buy the game seperately, play and finish it separately, what the fuck does it do on its own context? You're allowed to look at it on its own ffs (1/2)
