I can’t see why we can’t play both of them at times , especially at home . We could easily play a 4-4-2 with Rice and Odegaard in the middle .
I can see them work well together.

We could easily play 4-4-2 with both upfront Rice and Odegaard in Midfield but don’t think we will see it unless Arsenal are chasing the game.

We played better then we have done . Missed big chances and City will always create chances . 75% successful pass percentage is the worry for me , that is not good enough. But that is by far the hardest league game we have left , win all our other games and we are win with a big shot

I want to see three things in this game:

1. Better movement off the ball — we’ve been far too static lately.
2. Sharper passing — it’s been sloppy the last few games.
3. Someone to kick the crap out of Cherki when he gets the ball.

But overall a pretty good line up , Eze , Havertz and Odegaard can all keep the ball under pressure . Noni has the pace . Let’s go!

The problem with this double pivot is when the back 4 or the pivots receive the first pass from the back there are no good options forward. We need to get away from that.

Also our movement off the ball is atrocious, that could be down to the manager making people stay in their ‘zones’

I thought Eze was the shining light, he has looked really good. Agree about the front 3, some changes needed there . Think I would bring Dowman for Madueke and I would like to see Havertz for Vik

This is a pretty good start , plenty of energy but a few sloppy balls.

This lineup should be good enough to win this game . We need to get Eze the ball and our wingers are our threat , they need to have big games.

Agree should of played 20 min here 30 min there across multiple games but we just didn’t see it.

I am a big Arteta fan but if we don’t win anything I can see why they might go for a change . We are not playing like league leaders, we play like a mid table team. At home to Bournemouth we should be dominating the play but we were second best all over that park. Some of that is down to the manager

It’s on par with how we have played for a month. We don’t press, can’t pass it from back to front and don’t create chances.

We are an average team that happens to be top of the table.

It’s a bottle job , we can injuries but this team has been rubbish the last month.

Only 2 positives is the Gyok pen and MLS, who I think l has played really well ….. so many other bad performances
