Anyways, I've been quite stressed out by this. I've already been trying to keep important things away from Discord, but I will be expediting this process from now on. They've time and time again proven that they're not safe or reliable for comms.
I get that there are legal requirements Discord needs to follow, but it should NOT be this easy for hostile people to have Discord suspend your account and force you to doxx yourself to the platform.
Discord T&S does not take context into account when applying account suspensions. Now they require all of us to submit selfies with photo IDs to regain access to our accounts (some of us have 8y/o accounts AND active nitro subs), which a lot of us are rightfully hesitant to do.
Discord, in their infinite wisdom, automatically suspended myself and a bunch of others in my circle due to a targeted mass-report spam attack. The reports seem to target any instance where we mention "I'm {number<13}" either as a joke or out of context.
twitter is getting worse and worse but I honestly cannot justify switching entirely to bsky there's just so little interesting content here :(
