Today, KMS Steam Certificate students listened to Dr. Bridget Gaglio, a research scientist with at Thermo Fisher. She spoke about her education and career in the evolving field of Implementation Science. The students had a chance to come up with their own Public Health implementation ideas.

This week our KMS 8th graders are taking a short trip over to the Arlington Career Center to check out HS special programs and classes like JROTC, film, automotive tech, culinary arts, & animal science.
Today our STEAM Certificate students had a conversation with Dr. Phil Rogers. Dr. Rogers is currently contracting with the CDC and has experience with everything from DNA to AI to geospatial analysis. He shared his love of science and allowed students to direct the conversation. A great talk!
