Yep, I’m done for the season. As I’ve said before, it’s the hope that fucking kills you 😕
No excuses. Three weeks out and that’s what we get? I’m done.
Shakes head.
Just shakes head.
So glad that the #ArtemissII astronauts have returned to Earth safe and sound
My husband’s grandfather hand tamed a robin when my husband was a little boy, feeding it biscuit crumbs. To this day when a robin visits our garden we say Grandad C has come to say hello ( I never knew him, he passed away when my husband was a boy)
Received a second letter for the very same appointment, dated March 31st. Which only took Royal Mail ten days to deliver. And these recent price increases are supposed to represent an improvement in their services? Hilarious. (That 3rd missing birthday card also arrived
today 9 days after posting)
Four more shifts and my husband will be officially retired. He did his final ever nightshift last night. This time next week he'll be done, full stop.
And that is fair enough, I would’ve done the same thing.
Oh my word, the final moments of episode 4 of #DaredevilBornAgain 😮
Oh and a hospital letter for an appointment that happened YESTERDAY.
And my god two of my missing birthday cards arrived this morning too even though they were posted on time for my birthday given it fell on the Easter weekend. And sent first class. Utterly useless service.
Youngest kid’s missing parcel finally materialised after being fuck knows where for the last two and a half weeks
I usually don’t have an issue with Royal Mail, they’ve been pretty reliable in the past but they have really dropped the ball this time- three missing cards. All posted in plenty of time to anticipate the Easter weekend too 😑🙄
Thing is, my mother in law’s birthday is the day before mine and I posted her cards off the same day she posted mine. She has received hers. (She lives in Scotland though)
Plus youngest kids parcel that apparently cleared customs mid March and has just…vanished. No updates after it cleared customs. Gone. Probably into the same vortex my birthday cards have disappeared into.
Middle of last week my mum, my in-laws and my aunt in law all let me know that they posted off birthday cards for me. My birthday was Saturday just gone. No sign of any of them. Sent first class. Way to go Royal Mail, all three vanished into the ether
And of course the one day of the year where all shops are closed is the day that my kettle chooses to keel over and die.
Same.
I also didn’t expect City to kick Liverpool’s arse so soundly either (well maybe just a little bit… 😈)
And in other news, judging by how noisy it’s suddenly got here weather wise, I guess Storm Dave has finally arrived.
I know I’m probably in the minority here but I genuinely did not foresee that Southampton v Arsenal FA cup result tonight.
When my late dad turned 40, he started acting like an old man and I swore I would never do that (act old beyond my years) and I still don’t. Health issues might slow me down some days but in my head I’m stll thirty.
Had a lovely dinner yesterday with husband and kids and had an afternoon in the toon with kids today. Don’t feel 57 to be honest, since turning 50 I’ve always said I’m 30 in my head. Still feels like that most of the time tbh 😊

Thank you Tripps for everything you have done for our club. Your leadership, your experience as well as your strength and commitment to the team. I’ll never forget that free kick you scored from against Man City. Good luck going forward. #NUFC 🖤🤍
I hope it’s just a rumour. I mean, it was bad enough that the rat left however Bruno leaving would be devastating (imho of course)
A dog person and only because my husband is allergic to cats.
All of this. As a very proud mama of two adult kids with ASD, one with added SLD- ALL OF THIS… #autism #autismawareness #autismacceptance
This has to be one of the most amazing things I’ve witnessed in my lifetime. #ArtemisII
Watching the launch procedure for Artemis II on Sky News. Fascinating to witness
