It’s funny bc I only have a corgi to compare him to, so I keep thinking he’s so tall! Then I look at a photo of a full border collie and realize no, he’s quite low to the ground actually 🤣

Update on my MIL’s puppy

I think I had premium economy ticket when I got bumped too
on the first leg of that trip I was seated next to an unaccompanied minor who spent the ENTIRE flight (pdx to dfw) talking my ear off so when I got to dallas found out about the upgrade, it felt EARNED

My flight was a red eye and I loved that they gave me a quilt with actual HEFT, none of this flimsy fleece bullshit

I got upgraded to BA business class for no reason once, 12 years ago, and I haven’t stopped raving about it… ENJOY

When I lived in England I LOVED doing “country walks” that had built-in stops for the pub and tea, that‘s my style of hiking

I would start with finding out what health problems they’re prone to and then check breeders’ websites/etc to see if they are taking concrete steps to avoid those - genetic tests or X-raying hips or whatever (I don’t know anything about bichons)

I expressed concern to M about disappointing the owners if I decide to back out and he was like “but YOU are the person driving 14 hours round trip for this, they do not care” and I had to be like… oh yeah I forgot that part

This is true! I will def have my work cut out for me with training which is why I gotta make sure his temperament is perfect

to me, driving 7 hours for a dog makes more sense than waiting 2 hours for brunch because only one of these results in having a dog
