TOMORROW! Join us Wednesday from 5:30-7PM at the 244 & Jamestown pedestrian bridge for Rush Hour Resistance - we'll be focused on Earth Day and the destructive environmental policies.

HB 4440 would put Medicaid protections back on the chopping block. Rural hospitals, nursing homes, people with disabilities, patients waiting on specialists, and communities already struggling to keep providers would all feel it. Tell your senator to vote NO on HB 4440: tinyurl.com/OKReps26
Oklahoma already has a process for voters who don’t select a party when they register. HB 3722 would turn that into a reason to reject their application instead. That doesn't sound like election integrity to us! Tell your senator to vote NO on HB 3722: tinyurl.com/OKReps26

TOMORROW! Join us Wednesday from 5:30-7PM at the 244 & Jamestown pedestrian bridge for Rush Hour Resistance. This is a visible, high-energy way to show that Tulsa is not quietly accepting fascism, cruelty, or authoritarian politics.
A week from today! Register at forms.gle/wGVwt7G65gyD7rPr9
We’re endorsing Susan Lamkin for re-election to represent Tulsa Public Schools District 7.
Make a plan to vote April 7.
Schools, roads, and local services already need more support, not less certainty. Before lawmakers cut deeper, they need to show the numbers and explain the fallout.
Find your representative at TinyURL.com/OKReps26 and ask them to vote NO on SJR 39.
SJR 39 is being pitched as tax relief. What it does not explain is how communities are supposed to replace the funding if property tax growth is capped even further.
🇺🇸 In Oklahoma, we believe in personal responsibility AND common sense. This bill delivers neither.
ACTION NEEDED NOW:
📞 Call your House Rep: okhouse.gov
Tell them: Vote NO on HB 4440. Don't make Oklahoma the next Arkansas.
What it WILL do:
-Kick hundreds of thousands of Oklahomans off healthcare
-Cost Oklahoma millions in new bureaucracy
-Mirror a policy already struck down by federal courts
-Punish people for missing paperwork, not for failing to work
What it won't do: Create jobs. Arkansas tried this. Researchers found ZERO increase in employment. 95% of the 18,000 people who lost coverage were already meeting the requirements. They lost healthcare over a form, not their work ethic.
⚠️ URGENT — Oklahoma HB 4440 ⚠️ This bill could come to a House vote ANY DAY.
What it does: Places a Constitutional Amendment on the August ballot requiring 80 hours/month of work, school, or volunteering to keep Medicaid, w/ complex reporting requirements most recipients won't be able to navigate.
If your name changed after marriage or divorce, this could hit you especially hard. Voter fraud is already rare. We do not need more barriers to the ballot.
Find your representative at TinyURL.com/OKReps26 and tell them to protect our voting rights, not suppress them.
The SAVE Act and OK SB 1667 are being sold as “election security,” but what they really do is add more hoops for eligible voters. More paperwork. More confusion. More chances for people to get blocked from registering.
Thank you to all participants and organizers who made today‘s event safe and impactful! Tulsa showed up! 👏🏻 #nokings
Susan brings collaborative leadership, a real commitment to Tulsa students, and the perspective of a former TPS student. We’re supporting her because strong public schools need experienced, community-rooted advocates who understand what is at stake.
Vote on April 7.
Indivisible Tulsa County is proud to endorse Susan Lamkin as Tulsa Public Schools District 7 representative.
So what’s next after yesterday’s historic No Kings Day protests? We’re glad you asked! Let’s get to work: nokings.org/whats-next #NoKings

We should pause this proposal until lawmakers can show the real cost, explain how local funding would be replaced, and be honest about who would feel the impact most.
Find your representative at TinyURL.com/OKReps26 and ask them to vote NO on SJR 39.
SJR 39 sounds simple. It is not.
Lowering Oklahoma’s annual property tax value cap from 5% to 3% could reduce funding for local services, including public schools, roads, and public safety, without a clear plan to replace that money. Communities deserve answers before lawmakers move forward.
TOMORROW! This is not like our last two sidewalk actions. We’ll be gathering for a fuller event with performances, speakers, community tables, and space to settle in. Bring a chair if you’d like and come ready for an afternoon of connection, action, and community. RSVP: tinyurl.com/ITCNK26
