a little and awesome clip of "Wayward Girls Go to Town", from the 1993 first demo by Boston goth-popsters sirensong. Listening to it now, it sounds like if Durutti Column and a Broadway-bound Liz Fraser decided to make music at home 😆 Still, a lot of power in this version of the tune. RAREWAREZ.

Good question! I know that smaller and semi-large venues in Boston for the most part have been **excellent** regarding my sitch though. I only had the need to change my "price bracket" that one time.

I guess in the end, I am used to places (clubs, small venues) having ADA seating available when you purchase your ticket and talk to the venue beforehand. It's not horrible behavior per se, and I guess larger venues do what they can to accommodate, but still wish they'd try harder 🤷

the ushers told me that 'people pay for that space' and wouldn't let me sit anywhere but my designated seat. After some asking, they 'went to check' "something" but actually never returned to tell me what happened, so I ended up leaving cause my knee was angry. Unpleasant, but could have prepped

My specific case involved where I was needing a place to sit still for a bit at a B-52's/Devo show at Xfinity. I had a standard ticket but I was getting up and down out of my seat to let people get drinks, and it pissed off my knee injury. There were MANY, MANY un-taken ADA seats 1/2

To make super clear, Xfinity are not the only ones charging for ADA seating. Seems to be a 'big venue' sort of thing. And though they aren't more expensive than other seats, they are quite limited and scalpers will take aim at these sections in particular. Hard to get. Not so great.
