Panorama shot of the city, looking South. Sun still pretty low, but super high in the sky given how hidden it had been just a month ago!

today's reoccurring call of "god y'all please go review as many games as you can that you've played and enjoyed on steam" is inspired by, despite all the glowing press I've seen about it and who it's by, finding out perfect tides station to station has only barely passed 100 reviews

Did you know that in the history of tracking press murders, Israel has murdered more press than any other war, conflict, government, or military. At number two is the whole Iraq invasion & conflict, which still led to less press murdered in a decade than Israel systemically murdered in just 2 years.

Non-fiction Japanese book Iwata-san, about the late Nintendo CEO.

Passage from Iwata-san in Japanese that reads, "What are we good at? What are we bad at? I think managing a company is about knowing this and taking advantage of your strengths while avoiding making your flaws apparent."

Passage from Iwata-san in Japanese that reads, "What are we good at? What are we bad at? I think managing a company is about knowing this and taking advantage of your strengths while avoiding making your flaws apparent."

I'm reading Iwata-san and it's almost heartbreaking what a genuinely nice person he seemed to be. Imagine a CEO that worked for their customers and employees, and wanted to make things that brought people joy.

Support Kyle Fraser’s Recovery after Two Strokes

Support Kyle Fraser’s Recovery after Two Strokes

Some of you may know I’ve been dealing with a personal matter over the last week. Most of you do not. I consider myself a very private person but I need to ask for help at this time.

Last week, my partner and best friend, Kyle Fraser, suffered from two strokes in a single day.

There is a very long and expensive road ahead, and our friends have been gracious enough to help organize a GoFundMe for anyone who wishes to offer their support. On it, we have written up more detail on his condition for anyone curious. Even a repost or share helps. The link to that is in my bio, my story, highlights - pretty much anywhere.

Thank you for your thoughts and support at this time. Apologies in advance if I take some time to reply, I’m taking it one day at a time.

For those who don’t know him, Kyle is probably the most compassionate person I’ve ever met. He is as gentle and brilliant as much as he is strong and funny. He loves his two cats Poly and Moog, and adopted them with the explicit intention of ‘which cats are you having a hard time adopting?’ Though he can be reserved and introverted, Kyle has a fierce passion for his career and will always offer a helping hand to anyone in need, often taking calls to mentor professionals beginning their career. I’ve become a better person through knowing and loving him.

I think about Stars of the Screen more than I think about any other Playdate game. Go in knowing nothing about it.

“This Is Not The Computer For You” · Sam Henri Gold Sam Henri Gold is a product design engineer building playful, useful software.

This is the best product review I’ve read: samhenri.gold/blog/2026031...

It doesn’t matter if you’re interested in the MacBook Neo or not; this is the kind of essay that makes you think about the potential of technology and the joys of exploration.
