The obvious solution is to not have for-profit health care at all…that works quite well in many countries but you know “socialism” lol…which is just a boogeyman to make sure those massive profits stay protected for a few shareholders

What IS between a doctor/health-care provider and their patients is a for-profit insurance company…with all the fidicuary duties, profits and overhead costs that entails

Americans have had it drilled into their skulls their entire lives that the government is the problem and got scared (by these same insurance companies and their lobbyists) that the government would be deciding whether they love or die…that’s a lie

Health-care providers (either for-profit or non-profit) are squeezed by insurance on both sides: they end up becoming full-time collections agents from insurance companies and they continuously have to pay an ever increasing cost in instance to maintain their presence as a community provider

The ACA is a brilliant workaround but a compromised fix: essentially the government bribed the insurance companies to cover unprofitable pools of insurance

As someone that ran their own health care company I can tell you that the fix is an obvious one: cut out the private payer middle man (the for-profit insurance). They add zero value to the care or the process in fact it’s the opposite: they just add cost.
