I voted Tory because my parents did, but even they stopped voting Tory, my mum voted Labour in 2015 shortly before she died. Labour are done unless they return to traditional Labour policies, being Tory-lite is never going to win enough votes, and frankly they don't deserve to win at the moment.

I didn't vote Labour because a vote for them would have let a Tory in, in what used to be Oliver Letwin's constinuency, a man I respect but rarely agreed with. LD's beat the Tories! Apart from my first GE when I misguidely voted for Thatcher, I learned quickly(!!!), I've been solidly Labour since.

Same here. Labour has become a pale imitation of the Tories and has really taken on the mantle of post Thatcherite Conservatism, a far cry from Labour of my youth. Keir Starmer has let the country down in everything he does and doesn't do.

I think the Tories did a fairly good job for 14 years, but this goes above and beyond!

It's not that they don't care, it's their modus operandi.

I don't feel safe from the political class pretty much regardless of party. I feel immensly safe with immigrants, legal and 'illegal'.

We all know Republicans only care about children until the point of birth!

@Keir_Starmer has made some pretty crass decisions since becoming PM but this is probably the most significant nail in the @UKLabour coffin. Those of us who are traditionally Labour supporters are so disappointed in this useless leadership.
