I watched a few small flocks of Rose-breasted Grosbeaks visit my feeders today! The strange part was that they were *ALL* female. I haven't seen a single male yet. This is the first time I've seen them since last breeding season.

Yesterday, Ryan got me the hummingbird feeder I was looking at at the store the other day. Today is only the 2nd day we've had it up and we already had a visitor! I'm so glad we got it up in time. According to the tracker, yesterday was the 1st day any hummingbirds were sighted in my area, period.

If I can't use the hummingbird feeder in my basement either I'm buying a fully plastic/glass one.

Ever since #Amazon decided it would be a great idea to use AI for their return process, I have heard horror stories of people getting ripped off for $100's sometimes even $1,000's bc they were sent the wrong item in the first place. It makes me paranoid to use them especially for expensive items.

Why do so many narcissists fall into the whole "God" thing? Is it bc they often believe themselves to be special and "chosen"? These people don't need to find God, they need a really great therapist that will not feed into their delusions.

I reviewed all of our camera footage from the other day with the Pileated Woodpecker couple. We were so far away that the quality isn't the best but I'm honestly just happy to have some pictures where you can tell the sex. We even got some (very rough) video footage of the pair bonding dance/ritual!

It seems that the American Red Squirrel that visited our bird feeders the other day is becoming a bit of a regular. I caught him on our deck bird camera early this morning eating from the seed bar feeder. S/He was even hanging from it while they ate. 🐿

I had one of the most beautiful, photogenic Blue Jays at my birdfy feeder earlier! 🐦
