You know the state of romantasy is fucked when Dungeon crawler Carl, a LitRPG with no romance with a male protagonist written by a man, is better at writing female characters than books with female leads written by women

Dungeon crawler carl is the only book series that makes me think «I would rather be reading than be on my phone» and that is high praise

I might lowkey have an addictive personality but I spend all that energy on fake currency in video games instead of actual slot machines so I might be okay. I tried real slot machines once but got bored and I wasn’t winning anything anyway

For a chaotic, or chaos magic based character to work for me, it’s not enough to make them funny. I think those kinds of characters work best when there is some real menace behind it

I gotta finish my first run of Scarlet hollow (using mystical and keen eye, a combo I call «the archivist») so that I can do a playthrough with the trait combo hot and strong I want to call «the Johnny», as in Johnny Bravo or Johnny Cage

Me and my friends have this wonderful bit where we just lie to each other. It always starts with one of us saying a wrong fact about something to try to ragebait, and then the other "yes and"s them and this goes on and on

I need a game to play while listening to podcasts, I’m getting bored of minecraft

It’s so awesome that in Clangen the cats can just decide to transition. The player has no input on wether the cats are trans, it just happens sometimes. That’s so cool and based

I’m a very "trust the process" kind of person. I’ll always reserve my judgement on something until it’s finished. Because I’m more concerned with how a story works as a whole instead of each individual part

The fnaf 2 movie is good👍 and the critics who say otherwise have no idea what they’re talking about

I hate opening shifts. And I also hate that alcohol is a better sleeping aid than melatonin for me to get enough rest to wake up early enough to get up on time to open the gas station I work at

I relate to John doe because I’m so deep into the Jarthur rabbit hole that when Oscar showed up I got jealous on his behalf

Hazbin hotel isn’t nearly as bad as the haters make it out to be. It’s a perfectly passable adult animated show. It’s actually a very fun watch. Like, it’s not on the level of "the good place" in terms of an afterlife story, but it’s fun and engaging

Yeah I don’t think hardcore minecraft is for me. I get way too upset when I lose my world and I’m not nearly good enough at the game to survive going in caves

Working isn’t "fun" but I’ll gladly take it over the alternative of being home with nothing to do

The best part about watcing movies with friends is adding commentary like "please master, we could be yaoi", or "I think everyone in this movie should die except for the pretty girls"

He sure is! So much of his life as a human is so interesting and compelling to me. I didn’t care much about him before learning his backstory, but now he’s solidified as one of my favorite characters

I’m listening to the Malevolent podcast, and a hurt/comfort scenario I can think about for Jarthur is John using the hand he controls to hug Arthur around the waist or holding his face while they’re in the prison, and Arthur caressing John’s hand back because it’s the only comfort he can have there
