Listen closely to the PA announcements in BART stations; you might just hear the voice of one of BART’s biggest fans.

For Autism Acceptance Month in April, 12 local youth on the autism spectrum recorded announcements which will play every 15 minutes at select stations through the end of the month.

Skip the traffic, parking headache, and take BART to Coliseum Station!

Clara was an activist with deep roots in Oakland’s Chinatown. The building’s Chinese name, 陳依妙明光大廈, combines her Chinese name, Ming Quong (Radiant Light) and Residences. Ming Quong, Radiant Light, is a nod to Clara’s community impact and the name of the Girl’s Orphanage that used to be on this site.

Fan support ads (aka birthday ads) are entirely fan-made, fan-organized, and fan-funded. This is the 1st time these types of ads have taken over a train station in the US, and we’re excited to help these efforts.

Organize your own ad to celebrate favorite oshi, bias, or group at bart.gov/FanAds
