Still can't believe it ! Not only i've improved a lot during those 5 weeks, but it also made me realize that I am my worst critic/ enemy.

Changing my username to "pudding does art" because it feels more like me ๐
When I was in Japan, my friends used to call me "purin chan" as my name, Pauline, sounded pretty similar to purin (pudding). However "purin" in French isn't the best word so decided to go with the english version ! ๐ฎ
I also got a hip surgery (nothing bad) so loads of health appointments, which can be frustrating as it feels like I don't have enough time to focus on my art
I can't say that I'll be super active here bc I'm just a boomer๐
But I hope we can discuss about art and other things from time to time ๐โโ๏ธ end/
So what now ?
I've been self teaching concept art since then ! I didn't have much to show bc I mainly practiced fundamentals and was basically following a lot of courses on Colosso.
I am still at the learning stage but hopefully I can start thinking about the โจrealโจ portfolio this summer. 5/
I'm still proud that I passed the portfolio phase tho! The art test helped me learn a lot about myself and my own limits which has been really useful until now.
So basically this took all my time until July 25 and after that I paused drawing until the end of my job's contract last September. ๐โโ๏ธ 4/
I managed to get an art test which was tremendous
It was so intense that I had my hands were so in pain to hold my tablet pencil
Unfortunately, I didn't pass the art test
I can't say that it wasn't frustrating but I knew there were only 10 spots available and that my chances were really small 3/
I only wanted to get that school bc I knew I'd only learn about concept art
Not like most art school where you do many different subjects and throw away most of what you learnt when looking for jobs
I was working full time, it was really challenging to put all my energy on creating a portfolio 2/
To anyone who was curious about were I was during this whole year without posting anything ๐งต๐๐ป
