Don't get me wrong, the complexity and depth is still there if you want it, but this time around, you may actually be able to just get lost for a while and not worry about a bunch of tabbing out, 3rd party tools, looking up info, watching videos, and getting torn out of the experience.

All of the esoteric information that you used to have to dig through reddit or wiki pages to figure out is all in game and easy to access.
There is actually a reasonable chance that you could make a build yourself with minimal help, and it can make it to deep endgame if you put the time in.

If you're worried about your build being bad, from what I have played, GGG has done a significantly better job of guiding you through your skill and support gem choices. Respeccing is much easier and you have more control over it.

Overcoming the bosses, figuring out your build, gathering gear. You may not ever have another time where all of this isn't just figured out for you.

Remember that you only get one shot to play Path of Exile 2 for the first time.

There will definitely be people making content with builds, guides, strategies. I'll be making some as well.
You can follow these if you want, but for me, the most fun aspect is the exploration and discovery.

The combos really are first and foremost it seems in poe2 and a lot of the time are super satisfying.
PoE1 is definitely gonna feel like an arcade game in comparison.

The more I've seen and played of Path of Exile 2, the more I realize how it's just a straight upgrade to 1 in almost every way.
I was a doomer originally as well, but now I genuinely feel the game is gonna be generational tier.
I absolutely can't wait to get my hands on it.
