This is of particularly relevance to Wales, which is currently considering a Land Value Tax, and for whom the technical question of land valuation is a noted barrier. Learn from the best!

Many people treat land valuation as this big unsolved problem, but South Korea values all the land in the country, annually, down to the parcel, and gets it all done in five months. Then they post all the values publicly for everyone to see.

The core issue of most City Builders to me is they don't understand that they have to focus. Your game inevitably revolves around one big system. In SimCity, it's plonking down zone blocks. In Skylines, it's traffic management.
